PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in sorting a material in which a foreign matter such as a wire is mixed by using a conventional vibration type screen, the foreign matter (wire) caught in the sieve bar of a screen member is not discharged by only the vibration of the screen member, and a mesh tends to clog. SOLUTION: A rotating transfer body 2 having a plurality of blade plates 23 and a screen member 4 with a plurality of sieve bars 41 arranged at the undersurface side of the rotating transfer body 2 at predetermined small intervals parallel to the rotating direction of the rotating transfer body are provided in the housing 1. The upper surface of the screen member is shaped as concave arcuate surface having almost the same curvature as that of a moving locus surface at the tip part of the blade plate of the rotating transfer body 2, and the screen member 4 is disposed in a manner such that the concave arcuate surface of the upper surface of the screen member is close to the moving locus surface of the tip part of the blade plate of the rotating transfer body with a minute interval. Thus, the material to be sorted on the upper surface of the screen member is forcibly discharged by each blade plate tip part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
