MEDICAL IMPLEMENT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical implement which has surface lubricity at wetting time and a film which can realize its durability and which can form the film for each base material without increasing a cost in a simple treating step and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The medical implement made of a synthetic resin comprises: the film formed by coating a mixed solution for coating obtained by dissolving a polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether, methyl vinyl ether-maleic anhydride copolymer and polyether block amide in an organic solvent on the surface of the base material for the implement. The method for manufacturing the medical implement comprises the steps of: coating the mixed solvent for the film on the surface of the base material; and heat-treating the film at a low temperature to form the film.
