PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a crusher having a sufficient durability, and a crusher. SOLUTION: The electrode 4 for the crusher consists of a stranded wire where a plurality of linear electric conductors 12, 13 arranged so as to face each other through a dielectric material are twisted. A material composing at least one linear electric conductor 13 among a plurality of the linear electric conductors 12, 13 has a strength higher than a material composing the other electric conductors 12. Thereby the durability of the electrode 4 for the crusher against impact can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
