PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine by which sewing precision is improved by reducing frame distortion without extending the whole length of the sewing machine with a simple structure and a low cost. SOLUTION: In the multi-head sewing machine provided with sewing machine heads 6, sewing frames 11, Y-direction driving apparatuses 21, and an X-direction driving apparatuses 41, a right-most Y-direction driving apparatus 21 is provided on a right side compared with a right-most sewing machine head 6, a front-side X edge 11a and a rear-side X-edge 11b are extended to a right side compared with a right-side Y edge 11d, a left-mode Y-direction driving apparatus 21 is provided on a left side compared with a left-most sewing machine head 6, and the front-side X edge 11a and the rear-side X-edge 11b are extended to a left side compared with a left-side Y edge 11c.
