PURPOSE:To prevent a trouble due to a fault of a data recording device, by providing a monitoring display element, turning on when a light source is turned on, at the position where a person who is taking a picture can observes it from the outside of a camera. CONSTITUTION:To emitter terminals of driving transistors TR1-TR7, diodes D8-D14 are connected and the outputs of diodes D8-D14 are coupled to constitute OR gate G1. To the output of OR gate G1, a monitoring display element is connected via resistance R15. Therefore, display element 3 turns on when any of segments of seven-segment recording light source 2 is turned on. Thus, if one of transistors TR1-TR7 of the driving circuit runs into trouble and turns on normally, monitoring display element 3 turns on to give warning to the photographing person. |
