发明名称 METHOD OF PRODUCING POROUS BODY
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a porous body having a pore size of 10μm or less and a uniform pore size distribution being usable as a separation membrane, using a melt molding. SOLUTION: The porous body is obtained by selecting a suitable resin through focusing on the characteristics as a plastic crystal (i.e., a crystal having a second phase transition temperature below the melting point) of pentaerythritol to be used as a pore forming material to produce a uniform phase state by dissolving pentaerythritol at a molecular level into the resin at a higher temperature than the melting point of the resin, cooling the mixture of the plastic crystal and the resin in the uniform phase state at the higher temperature to obtain a structure having uniformly dispersed plastic crystal of an optional size by either mechanism of a recrystallization of the plastic crystal or a thermal phase separation such as a spinodal decomposition of the melt of the plastic crystal and the resin at an optional temperature, and finally removing the plastic crystal compound from the structure to obtain a porous body having a uniform pore size independent of the crystal size of the original plastic crystal compound.
