STYRENIC RESIN FOAM AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin foam that has both of heat insulating properties and flame retardance compatibly by using a nonchlorofluorocarbon foaming agent with less environmental problems, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This styrenic resin foam is manufactured by extrusion foaming of a styrenic resin. The styrenic resin foam is characterized in that it contains at least one compound selected from 3-5C saturated hydrocarbons as a partial or full foaming agent, and a halogenated aromatic allyl ether and a halogenated aliphatic compound and its derivative other than a halogenated alicyclic compound as a flame retardant.
