Flower harvesting, transport and singling method, by transporting flowers in rake shaped holders and transferring them to fork shaped holders in singling device

Harvested flowers are placed randomly and/or in bunches in rake-shaped holders and then transported to a singling device where they are transferred to fork-shaped holders (10) forming part of this device. During transfer of the flowers between the holders, the forks are arranged in a row with the end prongs of two adjacent forks lying next to each other. The rakes are positioned one after the other above the row of forks at the same time as the flower stems are guided between the fork prongs (1), following which the rakes are moved relative to the forks (or vice versa) so that the flowers are transferred to the forks. An Independent claim is also included for the apparatus used to carry out this method.
