METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CENTER STITCHED PREPREG TO PREVENT DEFORMATION OF TAPE FROM BEING DEFORMED IN WRAPPING PROCESS

PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing a center stitched prepreg is provided to prevent dimensions of a tape from being deformed in a wrapping process, which improves adhesion of the tape and maintains stability of a heat-resistant composite. CONSTITUTION: After a carbon fiber fabric(28) is made using a carbon fiber, the carbon fiber fabric is passed through a tank(30) to make a prepreg(2). A Kevlar fiber is sewn to a center of the prepreg to prevent the tape from being deformed due to tension or heat. Both ends of the prepreg are cut at an angle of 45 degrees, and the cut ends are wound around a winding roller. When a receiving roller having a mold is operated, the prepreg is transferred from the winding roller.
