<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a detachable light transmission-detection part of a light transmission efficiency and stability, by forming a sleeve so that only both ends of a short-sized optical fiber will be exposed. CONSTITUTION:In cap 5, short-sized optical fiber 4 is buries in sleeve 3 entirely anf fixed in the hole with both its flanks exposed. Then, the top end of optical fiber 4 opposes to the flank of long-sized optical fiber 4, exposed to the tip of the projection part of plug body 8, nearly in contact, and the lower flank is close to light transmitting-detecting element 1. Consequently, the work equipping operation of sleeve 3 is facilitated and optical fiber 4 is never damaged. Further, the relative position between long-sized optical fiber 4 and element 1 is unchanged for a long period, so the reliability is improved, so that stable light transmission can be performed with high efficiency.</p> |
