PURPOSE: A code demultiplexer of a high definition TV is provided to reduce timing of barrel shifters by dividedly shifting input data according to an accumulated value output from an adder. CONSTITUTION: A bit wise(210) divides data applied from an expander into halves. An upper bit barrel shifter(220) receives one side data from the bit wise for shifting the data according to a control signal of an adder. A lower bit barrel shifter(230) receives the other side data from the bit wise for shifting the data according to the control signal. A connecting unit(240) adds output signals of the upper bit barrel shifter and the lower bit barrel shifter for outputting the added signal.
