摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine such as a pachinko machine or the like which eliminates a monotonous feeling and greatly arouses player's interest. <P>SOLUTION: A play board 2 of a pachinko machine 1 is provided with an operation slot 3 and a major scoring slot 4 and is incorporated with a displaying device 13 having a display panel 13a for showing patterns. A control unit 24 holds a lottery, caused by the movement of play balls 5, and then determines whether or not to induce a special play state based on the lottery result. When the affirmative decision is made, the play mode is chosen between a normal mode and a special mode with higher value than the normal one. During the special mode, as long as prescribed conditions are met, the special play state is kept from being induced, when gains equivalent to what is supposed to be given can be saved. The gains saved at that time become obtainable after the special mode is over, and the induction is made in a unit of those saved gains at least. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
