PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable short persons, disabled persons and persons in wheelchairs to easily take out paper ejected onto an ejected paper stacking table from an after-treatment device. SOLUTION: This after-treatment device receives the paper S ejected from an image forming device A, performs after-treatment, and ejects the treated paper from an ejecting opening, and places the paper on the ejected paper stacking table 62. It is structured so as to select either of an on-line mode for ejecting the paper S onto the stacking table 62, or an off-line mode for arbitrarily lowering the stacking table 62 and stopping it at a paper taking-out position below the ejecting opening.
