PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free swing practice apparatus which achieves improvements in the vision capacity, judging ability and timing adjustment capability of baseball batters. SOLUTION: The free swing practice apparatus for baseball bats is constituted of a batting eye panel provided with a plurality of light emission sources in an assumed strike zone and a ball zone surrounding it and a pitcher release panel which is located at the upper part thereof and provided with a plurality of light emission sources for indicating pitched balls. The positions, types and velocities of the pitched balls are outputted at each pitching of balls to display the positions and types of the pitched balls by lighting on the pitcher release panel while one light emission source on the batting eye panel is selected to match the positions and types of the pitched balls and is turned on with a time delay corresponding to the types and the velocities of the pitched balls.
