PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waist protective tool for improving follow-up performance to a postural change while improving the support function of a waist part. SOLUTION: This waist protective tool has a back pad surface part 1, a side padding surface part 2, and a belly pad surface part 3 padded to a back side part, a lateral side part and a belly side part of a waist peripheral part of the human body in a wearing state, and is constituted in a belt shape by superposing and sewing a plurality sheets of cloth. Since the back pad surface part 1 is vertically divided and is sandwiched from the left and right by a support member of the side pad surface part 2, abdominal cavity internal pressure can be increased from both the body trunk side and the pelvis side without hindering a movement of the spine in an upright standing and forward inclining posture. The vertically divided back pad surface part is connected by an expandable connecting member, and can follow a movement of repeating the upright standing and forward inclining posture so that the waist part can be properly supported.
