PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a many-model common-use type dust collecting bag for a vacuum cleaner, which can be attached even to more models only from one direction, eliminates an inconvenience from a user, and prevents a failure in attachment and the occurrence of an accident. SOLUTION: This dust collecting bag is composed of a bag body 1 and a mount 2; the mount 2 is formed in an approximately quadrangular shape; and a plurality of cutoff pieces 3, 4, 5, 5, 6, 7 and 8, capable of adjusting lengths in two directions, that is, vertical and horizontal directions, are provided around the mount 2. The first, second and third upper cutoff pieces 3, 4, 5 and 5 are provided on the upper side of the mount 2; the lower cutoff piece 6 is provided on the lower side of the mount 2; the left cutoff piece 7 is provided on the left side of the mount 2; the right cutoff piece 8 is provided on the right side of the mount 2; a dust collecting opening cutoff piece 9 is provided around a dust collecting opening 21; and the cutoff pieces are selectively cut off, so that the dust collecting bag can be attached to the vacuum cleaner.
