PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent danger caused by furniture during an earthquake by preventing furniture from falling due to shaking caused by the earthquake and also prevent a drawer from sliding out. SOLUTION: Support members capable of working as a pendulum during earthquake are attached to both sides of the furniture, and these members are moved forward by shaking of earthquake and support the furniture on a floor face. Drawers are clamped from left and right sides by the movement of steel balls due to shaking, thus the drawers are prevented form sliding out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
