PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of production for butter cakes having a moist and soft palate feeling by suppressing excessive bleeding without a specific operation such as a temperature control, etc. SOLUTION: The method uses 50-200 wt.% of an oil and fat composition to cereals and the composition contains an liquid oil and 0.5-15 wt.% of a powdery oil and fat to the liquid oil.
