<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method which uses a coloring matter showing high discharge stability and no defects in terms of hue, weatherability, water resistance and image quality and realizes a high image quality level after recording, and an ink jet recording device. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet recording method and the ink jet recording device are designed to record an image in a recording medium by discharging a plurality of color inks from their respective discharging nozzles. At least either of the ink obtained by dissolving or dispersing an azo pigment of a specific structure in an aqueous medium or the ink obtained by dissolving or dispersing a phthalocyanine dye of a specific structure is used. Further, the time spent from the initial alighting of the tip of an ink droplet produced by a single round of ink discharge on the recording medium to the complete penetration of the whole ink droplet through the recording medium, is set to be 50 msec or less. In addition, when the inks of different colors alight on almost the same position, the following ink droplet alights on the recoding medium after the whole preceding ink droplet which alights ahead of the following ink droplet penetrates through said medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
