<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an Mn-Zn based ferrite which has reduced THD (total harmonic distortion), and is suitable for xDSL (x digital subscriber line). <P>SOLUTION: The Mn-Zn based ferrite magnetic material is obtained by incorporating, as assistant components, by weight, 0.002 to 0.040% SiO<SB>2</SB>and 0.003 to 0.045% CaO into fundamental components containing, by mol, 51.5 to 54.5% Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and 19.0 to 27.0% ZnO, and the balance substantially MnO, and also, the content of P is ≤0.010 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
