PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seepage control sheet for a waste disposal site, the manufacturing cost of which is reduced and the construction work period of which is shortened by using a single material for the seepage control sheet and making the work at the site completely simple while securing the quality of the seepage control sheet, and to provide a method for laying down the seepage control sheet. SOLUTION: This seepage control sheet 1 for the waste disposal site is composed of a water-impermeable single lower sheet 2, a plurality of water-impermeable upper sheets 3 each of which is arranged in parallel to the sheet 2 and one side end of each of which is jointed to the sheet 2 and the other side end is jointed to that of the adjacent one of the sheets 3, flow partition walls 5 each of which is formed between the jointed part of the sheet 2 to each of the sheets 3 and the jointed part of the adjacent sheets 3, intermediate materials 12 each of which is arranged between the adjacent walls 5, a plurality of parallel divided regions 4 each of which is formed by jointing the side surface edge part of the sheet 2 to that of the corresponding one of the sheets 3, openings 6 for communicating the adjacent regions 4 with each other at the alternately opposite positions and water sending/returning nozzle stubs 8, 10 respectively arranged in the first and final regions 4 under the sheet 2.
