<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety beak-shaped treatment tool for an endoscope capable of being passed through even a bent part of a treatment tool insertion channel of an endoscope without damaging the treatment tool insertion channel. <P>SOLUTION: In this beak-shaped treatment tool for the endoscope wherein a pair of beak-shaped treatment pieces 4 mounted on a tip of a sheath 1 can be opened and closed like a beak by operating an operating wire 8 inserted in the sheath 1 at hand side to be axial advanced and retracted, a swing restriction stopper 6s is mounted for restricting the movement of the beak-shaped treatment pieces 4 from a closing condition where the beak-shaped treatment pieces 4 are directed straightforward to the direction opposite to the opening direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
