摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerization initiator, a photopolymerizing composition and a photosensitive material for preparing a lithographic printing plate with good storability, capable of forming an image with good resolution and sensitivity, and writable at around 488 nm or 532 nm.

SOLUTION: The photopolymerization initiator containing a barbitric acid- base or thiobarbitric acid-base methine, an azo, an azomethine and a dimethine sensitizer dyes expressed respectively by formulae (A) to (D) and a radical generator. The photopolymerizing composition contains the photopolymerization initiator and a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond. The photosensitive material for preparing the lithographic printing plate contains the photopolymerization initiator, the compound having an ehtylenic unsaturated bond and a binder component.
