PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support unit for stacking pallets, capable of being efficiently loaded spatially in an unused state and securing a sufficient rigidity and a sufficient strength in the state of use. SOLUTION: The support unit is provided with a front frame 11, a rear frame 12, and both side frames 20, all of which are disposed along the front surface, the rear surface, and both side surfaces of a pallet. The front and rear frames 11 and 12 have support members 13 vertically disposed right and left, respectively, and cross-bars 14 and 15 for connecting the right and left support members. Both the side frames 20 have support members 23 vertically disposed at the fore and rear portions of the side frames 20, respectively, and cross-bars 24 and 25 for connecting both the fore and rear support members. A protrusion 13a is provided on the peripheral side face of each of the support members 13 of both the front and rear frames 11 and 12, and a groove 23a is provided in the peripheral side face of each of the support members 23 of both the side frames 20. The grooves 23a are slidingly fitted to the protrusions 13a, whereby the two corresponding support members 13 and 23 are connected to each other in the state that they are prevented from being disengaged from each other in a direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction thereof, and a support 30 is formed.
