PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding box simple in a structure, having a small number of parts, capable of being easily folded, set up, and developed, and solid under an assembled state. SOLUTION: The folding box is composed of a bottom sheet 1, long side sheets 2 provided upright on both sides of the bottom sheet 1 by folding it to constitute long side face parts, a pair of short side sheets 3 disposed at fore and rear openings of the long side sheets 2, and frame sheets 4 and 5 fitted with the upper edges of the respective side sheets 2 and 3 to constitute the frame of the box. Each fold line 12 formed at the central portions of the long side sheets makes the long side sheets foldable and developable by forming a cut line d in the longitudinal direction of each long side sheet, leaving an outside base sheet a which serves to function as a hinge, and both ends of each long side sheet are formed as a non-cut line portion e having a predetermined length. Fold lines 14 and 16 formed on the upper parts of the long side sheets 2 and the short side sheets 3 are respectively formed into a V shape in section by heat melting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
