PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate, without any danger, works at the time of jointing a flexible duct, a shaped duct, and a coupling duct which are in bellows or constituted by a heat insulating material. SOLUTION: In the punching pliers for the duct, a first gripping arm 10, a second gripping arm 20 for gripping an end part of the duct member, and two operation arms 30, 40 for alternately opening/closing them are supported at a prescribed rotating shaft 50 so as to be rotated freely. A roughly triangle pyramid-shaped protruding blade 11 of which one notch end roughly orthogonal to gripping surfaces is provided at the gripping surfaces of the first gripping arm 10 and the second gripping arm so as to face a direction opposite to the rotating shaft 50, and a groove part in which the protruding blade 11 is accommodated is provided at the second gripping arm 20 when the gripping surfaces of the first and second gripping arms are brought into contact with each other.
