<p>An apparatus and method are provided for satisfying a debt owed by an account holder to a vendor. The method includes the steps of providing a payment terminal to the account holder that can be remotely controlled by a telecom credit provider, receiving a request for payment to the vendor, such request being provided through the payment terminal to the telecom credit provider and providing a promise from the telecom credit provider to pay the vendor, such promise be provided through the payment terminal directly to the vendor.</p> |
