<p>PURPOSE:To improve dust sweeping efficiency of an electrostatic precipitator, by providing a driving mechanism of an air blow nozzle capable of its position control in the vertical and lateral directions of a flat plate electrode and a discharging electrode. CONSTITUTION:A pair of cylinders 6, which control the position of pistons 5 by a mutual sliding contact in the up and down directions of a flat plate electrode, are provided at both sides of an electrode supporting frame in order to move a nozzle driving mechanism, which moves the nozzle in the right and left directions, by the aid of pistons 5 in their sliding direction. This nozzle driving mechanism has a pulley 8 at its left side, and a driving pulley 7, driven by a position controlling motor 9 at its right side. A nozzle 11 is fixed at the single point or plural points on a wire 10 which interlocks the pulley 7 with 8, and is positioned by the motor 9 which controls the movement of the nozzle intermittently and reversibly.</p> |
