FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes nutrient media for culture of animal cell containing fish meat extract or product of enzymatic decomposition of fish meat instead components preparing from mammals. Also, invention proposes method for preparing protein by culturing animal cell in such medium. The proposed nutrient medium allows stable culturing animal cells without using expensive protein that is varied by quality significantly, such as bovine fetal serum and allows to exclude risk of pollution with anomalous prions or viruses and to obtain safety technological products. The proposed method for preparing protein allows to simplify isolation and purification of desirable protein produced by animal cell from nutrient medium.
