The device for welding a plastic base part (30) to a plastic container (10), for example a bottle, has a holder (20) for receiving in each case a base part (30) which is dispensed from a magazine (60). The container (10) with its base is, by means of a holding-down device (40), subject to the effect of pressure, placed on a base part (30) in the holder (20). A welding mandrel (51), for example for ultrasonic welding, is moved from a lower position into an upper position in which it is disposed in the holder (20) and effects a welding of the base of the container (10) to the base part (30). Such a container can be, for example, a plastic bottle suitable for carbonated beverages which ensures reliable standing on a flat support. <IMAGE> |
