For this purpose actual angle of position of vanes of compressor inlet guide vane assembly alphaigais compared with corresponding programmed value alphaprogiga and value of mismatch Deltaalphaiga = alphaprogiga-alphaiga is determined, after which value Deltaalphaiga is compared with limited tolerable value Deltaalphalimiga and if Deltaalphaiga>Deltaalphalimiga, signal l6 is formed to open air bypass valves and command to open air bypass valves is sent signal l6 is received, irrespective of presence of signal l5.
