METHOD FOR SELECTING AUDIO CHANNELS FROM AUDIO/VIDEO DATA STREAM

FIELD: setting audio channel identification. SUBSTANCE: each program includes minimum two varieties of audio data streams. Each audio data stream includes at least two subaudio data streams incorporating series of channel identifiers (ID) in compliance with predetermined priority order. Subaudio data are chosen by coincidence between channel identifier assigned to subaudio data stream in changed program and channel identifier assigned to subaudio data of program reproduced before this change. In absence of such coincidence subaudio data stream in which identifier is of first priority among subaudio data streams of changed program or of lower priority than that of identifier of program subaudio data reproduced before program change is chosen.
