PURPOSE: A rear vent system for an automobile and a control method of the same are provided to prevent sudden reversal rotation of a rear vent door and noise generated thereby. CONSTITUTION: A DATC(Dual Auto Temperature Control:11) acts as an actuator control part. The DATC directly controls open and close of a rear vent door(15) following operation of a rear vent temperature switch(7) by directly receiving signal of the rear vent temperature switch and outputting control signal to a rear vent door actuator(13) correspondingly wit the signal of the rear vent temperature switch. The DATC is directly connected with the rear vent temperature switch. The rear vent temperature switch is supplied with power through the DATC. A passenger sitting on a rear seat is allowed to control opening and closing degree of the rear vent door by operating the rear vent temperature switch as the DATC controls and actuates the rear vent door actuator. The DATC is designed to generally control air-conditioning status of the rear seat.
