PURPOSE: A catalyzer supply device for a washing machine is provided to exactly regulate the supply amount of a catalyzer by exactly sensing the supply amount of the catalyzer through a catalyzer discharge-sensing plate and to prevent damage of the catalyzer caused by vapor. CONSTITUTION: A catalyzer supply device for a washing machine comprises a chamber(10) forming a recessed part longitudinally from the lower part; a catalyzer discharge-sensing plate(20) combined to the inside of an open hole(5) of the chamber; a reduction motor(30) attached to the lower part of the chamber; and a transfer shaft(40) rotatably combined from the inside of the recessed part of the chamber. A hopper(7) is formed to the outside of the open hole formed to a side wall(3). A cover(9) is fastened to the upper part of the chamber. Switches, a connective point of which is intermitted according to contact with a catalyzer, are installed to the inner peripheral surface of catalyzer-passing holes(11). The reduction motor reductively rotates by power supplied from a control unit. The front end of a rotating shaft of the reduction motor is connected to the front end of the transfer shaft. The transfer shaft forms a screw-shaped impeller(31) to the outer peripheral surface. |
