PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature structure of an electric motor capable of securing more magnetic paths even if the bending radius of a coil is made to be the same as that in the conventional technology, while securing a positional restriction of coil end insulating parts. SOLUTION: A stator structure of a multilayer motor M has a stator 4 configured by arranging in layers on the circumference a plurality of stator piece laminated elements 41 around which a coil 42 is wound. At both the ends of the stator piece laminated elements 41, a convex-shaped core end 40g is formed by laminating stator pieces 40" for use in the end part having piece width W2 of the section where a coil 42 is wound which is made to be narrower than a stator piece 40' for use in the central part. Then the structure results in a saddle-shaped insulating component 50 having a concave-shaped section 50a which makes a coil end insulating component provided at both the ends of the stator piece laminated elements 41 to engage a convex-shaped core end 40g on a stator contacting surface.
