PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a speaker to be stably held at an ear during talking by preventing howling by sufficiently separating the speaker from a microphone. SOLUTION: In a portable telephone in which a device body 1 is detachably mounted at an arm via first and second bands 2, 3 turnably mounted at band mounting parts 4, 5 of the device body 1, the first band 2 is formed in a short- size, the second band 3 is formed in a long-size, the microphone 9 is provided at the distal end side of the band 3, and the speaker 8 is provided at a coupling protrusion 2a of the band 2. Accordingly, when the device body 1 removed from the arm during talking is approached to the ear, the speaker 8 can be made to approach the ear, and the microphone 9 can be made to approach a mouth. Thus, the speaker 8 and the microphone 9 can be sufficiently separated to prevent the howling. Since the protrusion 2a of the band 2 is provided at the speaker 8, the speaker 8 can be stably held at the ear during talking by grasping the device body 1 by a hand. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
