<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of an information processing apparatus and an information processing apparatus with which a setting change operation can be reliably performed to easily perform a desired setting change, thereby improving user-friendliness. <P>SOLUTION: An MPEG (moving picture experts group) encoder 100 includes a first step of storing a group of parameters stored into a common memory M1 into a work memory M2, a second step of changing the group of parameters stored in the work memory M2 in the first step in order to change the setting of the MPEG encoder, and a third step of collectively storing the group of parameters which are changed in the second step into the memory M1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
