PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable connector capable of simply forming a branch circuit from an existing flat cable circuit, and of connecting a plurality of flat cables with one another.

SOLUTION: This flat cable connector is provided with a pair of insulation covers 17 and 18 connected with each other by facing them to each other with a part of the flat cable interposed between them. Metallic crimp pieces 6 to be stuck into the flat cable are projected from the inside surface of the one-side insulation cover 17. Crimp piece insertion slots 21 for inserting the crimp pieces 6 are formed in the inside surface of the other-side insulation cover 18.
