<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code reader for making the diffused light with the inexpensive constitution, superior in operability, constituted so as to read in even a code arranged on a mirror surface, capable of coping with miniaturization, stably recognizing the code, and having high strength. <P>SOLUTION: This code reader 1 has a housing 2 having a reading port 7 for reading the proper code 10 arranged on an object 30, a light emitter 18 for indirect illumination arranged inside the housings 2 and 3, and a CCD camera 95 arranged in the housings, and imaging the proper code 10, and irradiates to the proper code 10 with the light from the light emitter 18 for indirect illumination, and reads information on the proper code 10 by the CCD camera 95 via the reading port 7 by the reflected light reflected by the proper code 10. A light transmissive member 14 having a reading port side one surface being the mirror surface for reflecting the light, and having the other surface being a light transmissive surface 14c is arranged between the CCD camera 95 and the light emitter 18 for indirect illumination so as to be opposed to the reading port 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
