PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control device to control a switch with a switch lever to changeover a state of connection by an oscillating movement from a desired removed position. SOLUTION: A supporting body 30 which can be attached to the switch 14, a control unit 32 supported by the supporting body and controlling the switch lever 24, a signal transmitter 34 which is separated from the supporting body and transmitting a control signal, and a signal detection process part 36 which is attached to the supporting body and detecting the control signal from the signal transmitter 34, are provided in the remote control device 10. It is constituted so that the remote control device 10 can also be applied to an existing switch on a wall surface 12 and the switch can be controlled from the removed position.
