The cover clip which is made of metallic alloy or polymer strip has first and second sections (4,5) which make a hook of angle (A) and third and fourth sections (6,7) which bend in reverse sense, the fourth section being parallel to the second. Fifth and sixth sections (8,9) make a second hook offset from vertical by an angle (D) and a seventh section (10) makes a final rim. The final sections include a throat which locates the band to the trough
