<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain sufficient starting torque by computing stator flux and torque during stopping. <P>SOLUTION: A device for inverter control comprises a stopping position angle estimating section 24 which computes the magnitude i<SB>m</SB>(n) of a current vector, compares the magnitude i<SB>m</SB>(n) with a maximum current value, and if the magnitude i<SB>m</SB>(n) is larger, updates a maximum current value i<SB>max</SB>by the magnitude i<SB>m</SB>(n) and stores an angle ϕ(n) at this time as a value χ, a flag S setting section 26 which sets a flag S when the angle ϕ(n) is taken as an input and the magnetic flux vector is determined so as to rotate for one cycle at an electric angle, outputs, and concurrently initializes a sample number n to 0, and an integrating initial value computing section 25 which computes the integrating initial value when the flag S is set or outputs 0 when the flag S is reset. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
