<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method, in which latest information for plant apparatuses can be obtained at any time and place when maintenance works for the plant apparatuses are performed. <P>SOLUTION: A system for supporting field work, which comprises a wearable computer 1-i and a plant information management system 11, is utilized for plant maintenance works. The wearable computer 1-i, which can be wore by a plant worker while the plant worker is working, outputs request for plant information as information regarding the plant.
