<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar light source device and a display in which exterior shape is not great and a cable can be easily integrated and to provide the planar light source device and display which are easily manufactured and can be manufactured at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the planar light source device a linear light source 1, a light guide plate 4 transmitting light from the linear light source 1, a lamp reflector 3 including the linear light source 1, the cable 2 for linear light source lighting and a first frame body 7 which is at least in contact with the lamp reflector 3 and restricting its position are provided. A space 12 to store the cable 2 is provided in between the lamp reflector 3 and the first frame body 7 by forming a chamfered part 11 where one part of the lamp reflector 3 is chamfered to be a plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
