<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the problem of individual components having irregularities in characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A transformer is provided with a U-shaped core 1, in which both ends of a rod-like base part 11 are folded, up to a substantially right angle and are made first and second arm parts 12A and 12B respectively, and an I-shaped core 2 arranged between the first arm part 12A and the second arm part 12B.
