PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper for speaker which is capable of improving a decrease rate of minimum resonance frequency, reducing the number of working processes in production of a speaker, and remarkably improving a heat radiating effect, and to provide a high-performance speaker mounted with this damper having an excellent effect. SOLUTION: A pair of damper materials are made of a conductive material excellent in spring property such as a phosphor bronze. In using one of the damper materials as a positive pole and the other as a negative pole, the damper materials are split into two halves centered at an axis of a voice coil 5, and one split body 3 is used as the positive pole, and the other split body 4 is used as the negative pole.
