PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal halide-enclosing article which improves high production cost and low color rendering property of a metal halide lamp in the state of the prior art, contains no sodium and realizes a light color from day-white to daylight. SOLUTION: For the metal halide-enclosing article for forming an ionizable enclosed article, which has at least one inert gas, mercury and at least one halogen and includes manganese in this case, the enclosed article contains at least a Mn halide and a V halide components.
