PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera wherein an imaging section and a camera main body are contained in independent cases and connected with a connection section, and the noise in an image signal transmitted through the connection section can be reduced. SOLUTION: The digital camera 10 includes the imaging section 20 and the camera main body 60, and both are connected with the connection section 40 such as a cable. Before the image signal sent from the imaging section 20 to the camera main body 60 is given to the connection section 40, an analog/ digital converter circuit 24 provided in the imaging section 20 converts the image signal into a digital signal. The image signal is transmitted to the connection section 40 including the cable in a form of the digital signal to reduce the possibility of intruding noise. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
