METHOD FOR OXIDIZING AND REDUCING USED NUCLEAR FUEL BY USING PLASMA

PURPOSE: A method for oxidizing and reducing used nuclear fuel by using plasma is provided to recycle the used nuclear fuel by using an oxidation process and a reduction process. CONSTITUTION: Plasma is generated by using a plasma generation unit(1). An ionization process for the plasma is performed by using a release reaction unit(3). An oxidation and reduction process is performed by using the ionized plasma gas. The release reaction unit(3) is rotated by using a rotation drive unit. Gases are injected into from the release reaction unit(3) by using a gas injection unit(4) or the gases are discharged from the release reaction unit(3) by using a gas exhaustion unit(5). The oxidation and reduction process includes an injection process for injecting a reaction gas into the release reaction unit(3) through the gas injection unit(4), a plasma gas supply process for supplying the ionized plasma gas to the release reaction unit(3), and a reaction process for reacting the reaction gas with the ionized plasma gas.
