PURPOSE: A plastic film on which a certain shaped design having hologram pattern is formed using partial releasing technique is provided, and a manufacturing method of the plastic film is provided. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of a plastic film on which a design is formed comprises a process of manufacturing a base sheet(14) by forming a metallic film(12) on the upper part of a transparent plastic substrate layer(10); a process of printing a printing layer(16) having a certain shaped design on the upper part of the metallic film; and a process of releasing the metallic film of an opened region where the printing layer is not formed, and wherein the process of releasing the metallic film is performed by dipping the printing layer formed base sheet into a releasing tank containing a releasing solution. The design formed plastic film comprises a transparent plastic substrate layer(10); a metallic film(12) which is formed on the upper part of the metallic film and has a certain shaped design; and a printing layer(16) formed on the upper part of the metallic film, wherein the transparent plastic substrate layer is a polyester film, and wherein a hologram pattern is formed on the metallic film.
